Zifkin Real Estate Group welcomes new Director of Business Development, SVP Pamela Bordner-Riney

(Chicago, IL) - Pamela Bordner-Riney joined Zifkin Real Estate Group's (ZREG) as its new Director of Business Development/Senior Vice President in January, 2012.

Pamela Bordner-Riney's accomplished career in commercial real estate and business development has taken her from Chicago to Taipei and throughout the US.  Pamela's role as Zifkin Real Estate Group's (ZREG) director of business development and senior vice president positions ZREG for growth under her cultivated and expansive strategic vision. 

Pamela's career in commercial real estate began with the leasing and sale of shopping centers for Coldwell Banker in Oklahoma (now CBRE) and Cushman & Wakefield of Florida.  While at the Resolution Trust Corporation, she worked with management companies and brokerage firms to manage, market and sell properties.   Pamela was instrumental in liquidating over $2 billion worth of commercial assets.  During Pamela's tenure at General Growth Properties, she specialized in the leasing of properties owned by third parties.  She was responsible for leasing over 3,000,000 square feet of retail space.

Pamela's strength of building strong relationships with both tenants and landlords took her to a twelve year career with Urban Retail Properties where she initially leased properties for third party clients.  She moved from leasing centers into a consulting position for the development and leasing of a major retail project in Taipei, Taiwan.  After 18 months abroad, Pamela returned to the United States to assume the role of director of business development and senior vice president.  In this role she pursued third party management, leasing and development opportunities.  Pamela continued her career in leasing and business development with the Zaremba Group.  Most recently Pamela served as the director of business development for Cotter Consulting prior to joining ZREG.

Pamela actively mentors young professionals, enjoys many interests and enjoys experiencing other cultures through interaction and travel. 

Pamela received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from North Central College in Naperville, IL.  She is a licensed sales person in Illinois as well as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Women in Retail Leasing (WIRL).
